Your adventure begins the moment you meet your friendly drivers, who guide you to your first stop: the impressive Aposelemi Dam. From here, you’ll take in a breathtaking panoramic view of the sunken village of Sfendili, a place where history, nature, and mystery blend into one unforgettable scene. As we continue through charming villages where time seems to have paused, you’ll enjoy sweeping landscapes, vibrant flora and fauna, and even the chance to pick wild herbs along the way. Soon, we reach a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the ancient Minoan path and offering your first glimpse of the legendary Lassithi Plateau. Descending onto the Plateau, we visit a traditional ceramic workshop and an olive oil factory. Children will love discovering the secrets of pottery and creating their own handmade treasures. Next, we head to the mythical birthplace of Zeus himself, the famous Dikteon Cave. If you prefer, you can explore the Mythological Park instead, where Greek legends come to life in a fun and interactive way. We then gather in a cozy local taverna to enjoy a traditional Cretan meal with starters, a main course, dessert, and local wine and water. This is a day filled with surprises, beauty, and excitement.
